Landscape dynamics and depositional systems research group at BRIN Climate & Atmosphere focuses on the continuous cycle of Earth’s surface evolution through the transport and accumulation of sediment. These systems are driven by the interplay between internal forces (tectonics) that create topography and external forces (climate, water, gravity) that wear it down.
